THE FUNCTION OF EYES AND MIND

Sight is a function of eyes. But vision is a function of mind. The greatest gift God gives humanity is not sight but vision. But not everybody sees with mind. That is why many wander in the wilderness of life, in frustration and depression. Many are dwelling in the pit of poverty because they could see with their minds, fallow opportunities around them. Many are struggling with life because they lack vision of who they are on earth; what they are created to fulfill in their lifetime. With sight, impossibilities are abound because we can see it all around; with mind, true picture of possibilities are created to become a celebrity.

Are seeing with your eyes or mind? Your eyes can not take you far. In your mind, lies your greatness. What you see with your mind, pursue it with all your strength. It will definitely take you to limelight.

LIFE EMBEDDED IN MYSTERIES

         

      Life is embedded in mysteries, just like treasures that are hidden underneath earth. Oftentimes, life poses threats to us, but deep inside are: hidden treasures, glorious future with all round joy, peace and comfort. If we care to stand firm in the wilderness of life, not distracted by the chains of ugly events around us, we will laugh at the end. Sometimes, life tosses us to and fro just like troubled ship in boisterous voyage but there is calmness at the end. Life is just like journey in a tunnel, far ahead there is a flash of light, which gives hope that we will soon get there. Just a matter of time, the pains of today will become joy of tomorrow.

I SHINE MY SHINE, YOU SHINE YOUR SHINE

The sky is wide enough to contain all the birds flying in the sky. So also God created mankind in a unique ways. He endows every mankind with gifts, (at least one gift) to have great success in life; to live a fulfilled destiny, in joy, comfort and all round beauty. Irrespective of our background and location, we have what it takes to become great in life. Everyone is unique and gifted. I shine my shine you shine your shine. There is no need for undue competition, strife and envy. We have all it takes to become great in life.

RIGHT POSITIONING

                                                  

Moon exhibits its beauty through Sun. Moon dwells in the light ray that comes from Sun in order to reveal its glory. Also the beauty of Earth is revealed as a new dawn break forth. I observe a constant law which Moon and Earth adhere to; the law of proper positioning. God’s endowed glory in Moon is hidden until it is well positioned for Sunlight to reflect it. This law is duly observed in order to manifest its beauty.

The law of right positioning is a constant law in all human endeavours. We must be well positioned in order to radiate God’s glory. Wrong positioning will obstruct the reflection of His glory in our lives; it makes life clouded with frustrations and evitable errors.  

SURELY THERE IS AN END.

         

      Life is a chain of events. The end to one event links up with next event of life. It goes on through our lifetime even after everyone has departed to beyond. These chains of events enable us to understand that there is season for everything in life. Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 enlightens us about seasons of life. It shows that life is entangles with season. “….a time to born, and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up..” This goes on and on until man goes back to grave.  In Verse 11, it says “He has made everything beautiful in its time…” This shows that no matter how ugly events of life looks, there are hidden treasures in it.

        However, who we align with determines whether or not we will end well. God has given us free “WILL” to make our choices in each season of life. Our choices are the determinant factors of how we will end our life. If only we can align with God, we will surely end well.

SPIRIT OF GOD, LEAD US IN THE RIGHT PATH OF LIFE

     When someone is going down the drain, must we refrain from such person? Must we disconnect from such person? Must we rebuke him or her? Must we condemn him or her? Must we join him or her in self-destruction? Must we show care or love for such people? Many questions are troubling my mind with no satisfactory answer.

Oftentimes, individual gives opinions on what he or she sees, hears or experiences. But issues of life are more complicated than that. It is what you are told, that you will know. What you do not witness from the foundation, it will be very difficult to address such issue.  

       Everyone has reasons for choices he or she makes, decision he or she takes, and path he or she follows. Be it for good or bad: even when the end of such is not unveil to us. Such may be very complicated for others to comprehend. The victims may not be able to give satisfactory answers. But in pursuit of happiness in life, Holy Spirit will lead us right not to fall into temptation that is above our FAITH.

YOUR WILL

‘O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as l will, but as You will’. Our Lord Jesus Christ uttered this statement when He was praying at Gethsemane, some minutes before He was betrayed to the hands of His crucifiers. It shows that God honours the will of His creature even if it is contrary to His plan. Though, it has been predestined that Jesus Christ will shed His blood on the cross, He still have the grace to upturn the fate written about Him. This shows that God honours our wills, just to reveal the greatness of power God bestows on mankind.

God has given us grace to write and re-write events of life; even when they are contrary to what He has in mind. God’s intention was to destroy Israelites in the wilderness when they disobeyed Him. But Moses pleaded and He changed His mind. Lord instructed Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell them that their wickedness has come up before Him and He is ready to destroy the entire city. His will was to destroy the city, but still want to give them grace, peradventure they will turn away from their wickedness (which they did).

   To us, we have been given power to make our will to prevail or His will to prevail. Any time you are passing through ugly events of life, exercise your power of will to determine whether or not it is suitable for you. God will surely honour it. But you must be very careful not to abuse it. The power of will is just like a knife. It makes and also mar destiny. God bless you.
