THE FUNCTION OF EYES AND MIND

Sight is a function of eyes. But vision is a function of mind. The greatest gift God gives humanity is not sight but vision. But not everybody sees with mind. That is why many wander in the wilderness of life, in frustration and depression. Many are dwelling in the pit of poverty because they could see with their minds, fallow opportunities around them. Many are struggling with life because they lack vision of who they are on earth; what they are created to fulfill in their lifetime. With sight, impossibilities are abound because we can see it all around; with mind, true picture of possibilities are created to become a celebrity.

Are seeing with your eyes or mind? Your eyes can not take you far. In your mind, lies your greatness. What you see with your mind, pursue it with all your strength. It will definitely take you to limelight.

LIFE EMBEDDED IN MYSTERIES

         

      Life is embedded in mysteries, just like treasures that are hidden underneath earth. Oftentimes, life poses threats to us, but deep inside are: hidden treasures, glorious future with all round joy, peace and comfort. If we care to stand firm in the wilderness of life, not distracted by the chains of ugly events around us, we will laugh at the end. Sometimes, life tosses us to and fro just like troubled ship in boisterous voyage but there is calmness at the end. Life is just like journey in a tunnel, far ahead there is a flash of light, which gives hope that we will soon get there. Just a matter of time, the pains of today will become joy of tomorrow.

I SHINE MY SHINE, YOU SHINE YOUR SHINE

The sky is wide enough to contain all the birds flying in the sky. So also God created mankind in a unique ways. He endows every mankind with gifts, (at least one gift) to have great success in life; to live a fulfilled destiny, in joy, comfort and all round beauty. Irrespective of our background and location, we have what it takes to become great in life. Everyone is unique and gifted. I shine my shine you shine your shine. There is no need for undue competition, strife and envy. We have all it takes to become great in life.

RIGHT POSITIONING

                                                  

Moon exhibits its beauty through Sun. Moon dwells in the light ray that comes from Sun in order to reveal its glory. Also the beauty of Earth is revealed as a new dawn break forth. I observe a constant law which Moon and Earth adhere to; the law of proper positioning. God’s endowed glory in Moon is hidden until it is well positioned for Sunlight to reflect it. This law is duly observed in order to manifest its beauty.

The law of right positioning is a constant law in all human endeavours. We must be well positioned in order to radiate God’s glory. Wrong positioning will obstruct the reflection of His glory in our lives; it makes life clouded with frustrations and evitable errors.  

SURELY THERE IS AN END.

         

      Life is a chain of events. The end to one event links up with next event of life. It goes on through our lifetime even after everyone has departed to beyond. These chains of events enable us to understand that there is season for everything in life. Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 enlightens us about seasons of life. It shows that life is entangles with season. “….a time to born, and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up..” This goes on and on until man goes back to grave.  In Verse 11, it says “He has made everything beautiful in its time…” This shows that no matter how ugly events of life looks, there are hidden treasures in it.

        However, who we align with determines whether or not we will end well. God has given us free “WILL” to make our choices in each season of life. Our choices are the determinant factors of how we will end our life. If only we can align with God, we will surely end well.

SPIRIT OF GOD, LEAD US IN THE RIGHT PATH OF LIFE

     When someone is going down the drain, must we refrain from such person? Must we disconnect from such person? Must we rebuke him or her? Must we condemn him or her? Must we join him or her in self-destruction? Must we show care or love for such people? Many questions are troubling my mind with no satisfactory answer.

Oftentimes, individual gives opinions on what he or she sees, hears or experiences. But issues of life are more complicated than that. It is what you are told, that you will know. What you do not witness from the foundation, it will be very difficult to address such issue.  

       Everyone has reasons for choices he or she makes, decision he or she takes, and path he or she follows. Be it for good or bad: even when the end of such is not unveil to us. Such may be very complicated for others to comprehend. The victims may not be able to give satisfactory answers. But in pursuit of happiness in life, Holy Spirit will lead us right not to fall into temptation that is above our FAITH.

YOUR WILL

‘O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as l will, but as You will’. Our Lord Jesus Christ uttered this statement when He was praying at Gethsemane, some minutes before He was betrayed to the hands of His crucifiers. It shows that God honours the will of His creature even if it is contrary to His plan. Though, it has been predestined that Jesus Christ will shed His blood on the cross, He still have the grace to upturn the fate written about Him. This shows that God honours our wills, just to reveal the greatness of power God bestows on mankind.

God has given us grace to write and re-write events of life; even when they are contrary to what He has in mind. God’s intention was to destroy Israelites in the wilderness when they disobeyed Him. But Moses pleaded and He changed His mind. Lord instructed Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell them that their wickedness has come up before Him and He is ready to destroy the entire city. His will was to destroy the city, but still want to give them grace, peradventure they will turn away from their wickedness (which they did).

   To us, we have been given power to make our will to prevail or His will to prevail. Any time you are passing through ugly events of life, exercise your power of will to determine whether or not it is suitable for you. God will surely honour it. But you must be very careful not to abuse it. The power of will is just like a knife. It makes and also mar destiny. God bless you.

WHY GOD INTERRUPTS MAN’S PLAN

Sometimes in the voyage of life, God interrupts man's plan in order to establish and execute His pre-ordained plans. He does this mostly to get man frustrated, stuck or to fail outrightly. In such strange ordeals in the voyage of life, we are overwhelmed with confusion, unable to know why we are in such dilemma. But God does this because He knows more than what we know. He interrupts because of great destruction ahead. Next time you experience interruption in your affairs. Pause for a while, analyse it, learn your lessons from it. Submit to God without argument if God's hands are in it; because it will be for your own good at the end.

A CLOSED CHAPTER

A closed chapter will definitely lead to a new chapter. But oftentimes the anxiety of unknown events concealed in a new chapter makes us dwell so long in old chapter, believing is the best chapter of our lives, even when there is no new things to celebrate. We comfort ourselves with a say that “a known devil is preferred to unknown angel”. We waste precious part of our lifetime building round the old chapter, hoping a new wine will come forth from old grape.

God forcefully allows circumstances of life to close old chapters so that we can move to the next chapter. Though leaving a comfort zone is extremely difficult, the comfort of the previous chapters are nothing to the hidden comfort in the next chapter, if we can brace up and embark on voyage of life in a new chapter.

YOUR PLAN IN BIG PLAN OF GOD

       

There is something you are created to do; a mission to be accomplished. There is something you are created to be; a destiny to be fulfilled. There is hidden treasure deposited in you; a gift you must discover. There are visions God has shown you; dreams that must be transformed to reality.

       No one is an accidental discharge in life irrespective of your background and race. No one is a dark horse irrespective of how you are born. Though you may be born out of wedlock, you are not an accident. Though your family may be experiencing turbulent time, they are the processes you must go through to become who God wants you to be. Having survived the contest in your mother’s womb shows that God has a glorious plan for you; having escaped all attempts to abort you shows you are a destiny child.  No one is born out of error or mistake, once you breathe the breath of life.

          You are part of big agenda of God for this generation. All you need to do is to align with God in order to discover your path in destiny. Always remember that you have a mission to be accomplished. 

LOCATION CAN MAKE OR MAR GLORIOUS DESTINY

Geographical location plays a prominent role in what will become in life. It is indeed one of determinant factors in forming good or bad habits. Location modifies our characters, attitudes and behavioural patterns. In conclusion, location is one future; it can make or mar glorious destiny.

Psalm 1:1-6 gives detailed explanation of what location is capable of doing in one’s life. “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful……” Lot ended up losing all he had acquired when he departed from Abraham and relocated to the city of Sodom and Gomorrah Gen 19:15-17. Oftentimes, destruction comes in a very attractive package; until when it is unwrap that the real content will be known. The city of Sodom and Gomorrah looks attractive to Lot, but the end of it led to his destruction Gen13:10-11. He entered the land of Sodom and Gomorrah very rich in livestock, sliver, and in gold; but he left the city a miserable man. His two daughters were also corrupted in the city of Sodom Gen 19:31-35.

Seek the mind of God before you take the next step in your pursuit in life. Hear Him clearly before you relocate to a new location. It is indeed a link between today and the future. God bless you.

NEVER SHUT THE DOOR OF THE MIND.

         

Pains of previous chains of events of life may eventually shut the door of mind against others or discourage us to move on in order to unfold what future holds for us. Despite the present pains, agonies of life, betrayal of trust and all manner of encounters we might have had in life, there is need to give others a second chance; there is need to pick up our pieces and move on with life. Sometimes the music of destiny might be played with a tune of betrayal, hostility or delay; we ought not to shut the door of our minds against others. Life must continue. Do not refuse to trust again because you have been betrayed by loved ones, do not refuse to rise up again because you fell again and again, do not refuse to make next attempt just because you failed in the past attempts. Pick up you broken pieces, reactivate the strength of your inner mind and behold the glorious future ahead of you.

FAITH

We are all waiting earnestly for a new dawn to come. The gap between expectations and manifestations is filled with HOPE. What keeps hope alive is FAITH. Without faith there is no hope. Without hope there is no manifestation. Without manifestation, there is no expectation.

BETWEEN FATE AND FAITH

  

 Keys to unlock hidden treasures of life are concealed in tribulations, challenges, and strange ordeals of life. In these ordeals; we are afflicted, suffered persecution, mocked by our adversaries and brought down into the dwelling place of death. Some accept fate without FAITH to go through the ordeals of life while some wrestle with fate with strong FAITH to unlock the hidden treasures. It is obvious we are created and endowed with blessings of God, but no one shall be given on platform of gold. Everyone has to strive for his or her portion in their lifetime lest he or she lives a wasted life.

GOD WILL ONLY LIGHT YOUR CANDLE

My candle, my light........

   God cares for us. He blesses us with great potentials to fulfill our callings on earth. Before we were formed in the womb of our mothers, He knew us and He has assigned everyone for a mission to be fulfilled during our lifetime Jeremiah 1:5.

However, God will only light our candles, it is our sole responsibilities to ensure that the light is not quench by chain of events of life around us. Everyone is born to fulfill a purpose. He lights up our candles to kick-start the fulfillment of His prophecies. The process of lighting up the candle is a significant phase of life which God ordained from above. Though He makes provisions for the fulfillment of His prophecies, He also gives us the willing power to choose the path we want to take. Many lights had been quenched because the owners did not guide the lights jealously. Some are distracted by fantasies of life and they are consumed by it.

Samson was born to be a deliverer of Israel. The light of his candle was quenched on the lap of Delilah and he became object of ridicule. He eventually died with his enemies. His mission was aborted. Judge 16:20-31. The light of Saul was quenched on the altar of disobedience, his kingdom was torn and David took over the kingdom. I Samuel 15:22-23, 27-28. Reuben lost his light as result of fornication. Genesis 49:3-4. Gehazi lost his light because of covetousness II king 5:25-27. Judas lost his light because of money Matthew 27:3-5.

God rejoices when we accomplish our missions on earth. It is His pleasure when we move on from glory to glory. He lights our candles and He wants to us to walk in the right path of life so that our lights will not be quenched. God bless you.

RUNNING ON THE RIGHT PATH.

Many are running the race of life on the wrong path and they care not to observe it. They run with zeal only to reach unknown destination. They pay the price in order to get the prize; but all their prices are wasted efforts.

Many are overwhelmed with ovations from people around them. They pause to acknowledge those who sing their praises. Alas, they end up losing focus of where they are going. Many are lonely in the race of life. They feel empty and confuse. They look around for someone to pity them. Alas, they find no one. In this emptiness of life, with no one to lean on, they abandon the race for another mission.

The fear and anxiety of unknown grip many in the course of the race. The fear of past failure haunts some. These discourage many to attempt running the race again. They decide to accept fate rather than attempting the race again. But some are bold like lion, running to obtain the crown, even when they fail over and over again. In their failures lie their strength. In their mistakes lie experiences to trace their path back to the right path. In their loneliness lies strong faith to conquer the world.

LIFE IS SUBJECT TO INSTRUCTIONS

         

     Life is subject to instructions which God wants us to obey; though He gives us free WILL either to obey or not to obey. Our actions towards these instructions will either result to blessing or curse or outright abortion of destiny.

     Obedience is a key to accomplishment. Obedience is a link to great success in life. Disobedience delays promises of God to mankind; sometimes terminates a glorious destiny. Each phase of life accompanies with divine instructions which God wants mankind to strictly adhere with. Our choices will definitely determine what will happen to us now and in the future.

    God instructed Abraham to get out of his country, from his family and from his father’s house, to a land He will show him. Note He did not instruct him to go with Lot, his cousin. Gen 12:1-4. Despite his disobedience, God blessed both Abraham and Lot in livestock, silver and gold. But God’s promises for Abraham are beyond what he had then. Gen 13:1-3.

       Chain of events created an avenue for Abraham to have a second chance to adhere with what God told him before he departed Haran. The herdsmen of his livestock strived with Lot’s herdsmen. The separation of Lot from Abraham led to his doom because he was not in God’s agenda for Abraham. God established His initial covenant with Abraham when Lot departed from him. Gen 13:14-16. Obedience is better than sacrifice. God wants us to obey His commandments in order to enjoy His blessing. Deuteronomy 7:11-15. 

THE WORD

In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God John 1:1. He used the WORD to create the WORLD; out of nothing He spoke all the creatures in Heaven and Earth into existence Genesis 1:1-25. He formed all the creatures of the earth out of His utterances just to show mankind the power in the word. He put the word in the heart of men who He created in His image, to be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; and having dominion over other creatures Genesis 1:27-28.

But the same word was corrupted in the heart of men by Satan when the first Adam fell for his deceit Genesis 3:1-4. Since then, two spirits had been contending for supremacy in the hearts of men, the good and evil thoughts; prevailing over what proceeding out of men Galatians 5:17. The fall of man in the Garden of Eden corrupted the word in us, since then the hearts of men are desperately wicked and no one can know the in-depth of the wickedness. The word (be it good or evil) go into spiritual realm to confirm what manifest in physical realm.

The significance of WORD cannot be overemphasized; it forms the basis on which life builds on to manifest the glory of God or Satan. It is what feed our hearts with that will define our relationship with God and men. Every word that proceeds from our hearts connects with spiritual realm to dictate what we become in our lifetime. A glorious destiny has been aborted because of evil word uttered with demonic backup. Word kills; and the same word makes someone to live. Word unleashes terror on men; and the same word brings comfort to mankind. We battle with the manifestations of word from cradle to grave.

That is why He sent His only begotten Son to the world to redeem us from curse of words we inherited from the fall of first Adam. He shed His blood to blot out old ordinance we are subjected to; and gives us a new heart in order to manifest the original programme of God for mankind. He gave us a second chance through His Son. That is why we should abide in God so that His word can sustain us in this perverse world. Everything will need to remain victorious in this evil world is contained in the Bible. Pick a Bible today to know your WORD. God has given us the WORD contained therein to rule over our WORLD.

ABOUT THE PAST

I am not too defensive about what you did in the past, though it hurts me to the marrow. I am quite aware of what loneliness can push someone to do. It takes the grace of God to survive challenges in the time of loneliness.

I am also aware that temptations are inevitable in the course of our pursuits in life or things. But most times we are tempted by things we show keen interest in or things we admire so much. But also our God is so faithful helping us through our weaknesses and strengthen us to become perfect.

 Remember the vow we made together, the beautiful memories of the time we spent together, the promises in the morning, noon and at night. Remember the solid foundation both laid together. Must we scatter it with our own hands? Must we turn our happy home to desolate place? Must we allow Satan to laugh at us? Must we turn our peaceful home to chaos home? Must we allow strange women to turn our hearts against each other? Have a deep thought of it all. I love you and always love you. No matter the circumstances, thought it pains me so much; l still love. God bless our union.

LIFE IS NOT AN EASY ADVENTURE

Life is not an easy adventure. It is full of both visible and invisible resistances that can make one’s life miserable. All these resistances hinder many people from achieving their dreams; except those with strong mind. The chain of events around us is full of fearful events that can make someone jettison his or her dreams. Despite all these anxieties coupled with uncertainties in the voyage of life, we need to encourage ourselves from inner mind to move on with life. Even if we fail over and over again, just move on; because winners never quit and quitters never win. When there is no standing ovation and it seems you are the dark horse in the pursuit of your dreams, do not be dismayed, move on. Encourage yourself from within. Remember that you cannot discover a new thing until you venture into unknown place, especially where you have experienced failure in the past. Make effort to take the next step, it will definitely take you to limelight.
