Geographical
location plays a prominent role in what will become in life. It is indeed one
of determinant factors in forming good or bad habits. Location modifies our
characters, attitudes and behavioural patterns. In conclusion, location is one
future; it can make or mar glorious destiny.
Psalm
1:1-6 gives detailed explanation of what location is capable of doing in one’s
life. “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor
stands in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful……” Lot ended up losing all he had acquired when
he departed from Abraham and relocated to the city of Sodom and Gomorrah Gen
19:15-17. Oftentimes, destruction comes in a very attractive package; until
when it is unwrap that the real content will be known. The city of Sodom and
Gomorrah looks attractive to Lot, but the end of it led to his destruction
Gen13:10-11. He entered the land of Sodom and Gomorrah very rich in livestock,
sliver, and in gold; but he left the city a miserable man. His two daughters
were also corrupted in the city of Sodom Gen 19:31-35.
Seek the
mind of God before you take the next step in your pursuit in life. Hear Him
clearly before you relocate to a new location. It is indeed a link between
today and the future. God bless you.

ReplyDeleteNo wondet the Israelites said "take us not from here if your presence will not go with us" they understood the danger of being in a wrong place per time. The absence of the presence of God makes a place wrong. "Ye shall hear a voice behind you saying this is the way, walk ye in it". My prayer is that we shall always hear thr voice of our guide IJN.
